Cupuacu oil is the cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the cupuacu, Theobroma grandiflorum, a tree of the Brazilian Amazon and a close relative of the cocoa tree; on the label it reads Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Oil, cold-pressed and made in Brazil. It is a full, slow oil that thickens in the cold.
